Activities/Attractions: Cuneo Province, nicknamed the Granda, is the one that is perhaps most bound to its traditions, which are strongly marked by agriculture, viniculture, and gastronomy. Its extensive area presents us with an extremely varied geographic and cultural landscape.
There are valleys and nature reserves as well as one the most interesting artistic and cultural heritages in Piedmont. Two areas are very characteristic of Cuneo Province – the Langhe (a langa is a particular kind of hill in Piedmont dialect) and Roero (named after the family of local nobles that long ruled over it). This is sparkling countryside with its hills marked by old villages, castles, medieval churches, and historical residences.
Above all, there are the vineyards that yield quality wines that are appreciated and sought, even abroad. They are considered a precious resource on the international level. We are a perfect location for sporting activities such as:
- trekking, mountaineering
- motorbike and mountain bike tours
- ski touring, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing
- canoeing and kayaking (we can also accompany you if you
wish)
Traditional dancing from the OC area, Irish set dancing, Scottish country dancing - short courses are also available and Cultural and Architectural visits are recommended.
General Information: Welcome to the Mascha Parpaja Bed and Breakfast Inn ... located in Valle Maira, at 1540 metres above sea level, 3.5 km beyond Canosio. We are in the Alps, near the Langhe area, the wildest valley of the Western Alps, ideal for trekking, mountaineering, combined with wine and food and if you are interested, with surprising history and minor art treasures.
Lying in the beautiful hamlet of Preit, well preserved and almost completely renovated in the ancient style, we are set in a sunny location with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Our "baitas" offer three star accommodation, b&b or half board and a quality restaurant. Pets are welcome and meals for your little friends can be provided. For those who love sport, or for those who just enjoy relaxing, we have rooms furnished with examples of local traditional crafts. We offer:

Our Inn, Mascha Parpaja, provides meals and rents sports equipment. Soon a fitness centre will be ready with a sauna. Vegetarians are welcome, just mention you are vegetarian upon reservation, in order not to disappoint you and bear in mind your expectations.
